Payment Policy

Down Payment. A down payment of 35% to be sent to Pearl of Papua our Bank Account no later than 10 days after the date the reservation is made.
Payment of The Balance Payment of the balance 65% must be made at least 3 months prior to departure date.
Last Minute Promo We will offer the last minute promo 3 months before the departure date.
Short Notice Bookings Full payment must be made at the time of booking if the reservation is made less than 90 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy 90 days or more prior to departure 100% of the first payment (35%) will be forfeited. Less than 90 days prior to departure 100% of the total payment will be forfeited.
100 percent of payment is required for reservation within 90 days prior to departure.

We strongly recommend guests bring their own dive gear as you are more familiar with how to use the gear and not to mention they are the perfect fit. The Pearl of Papua has various sixes of Scubapro and Aqualung dive gears on board for rent. Please provide the specific size for the gears and inform us in the passenger form in 30 days prior the departure.

The Pearl of Papua is a great mid-level dive boat, attentive crew, efficient dive operations. Food is plentiful, tasty and varied. Lots of covered space on two levels of fore deck. Dive operation is well run, indvidual baskets for your gear and all your gear put on the 2 dive skiffs so you just have to grab your wetsuit and mask and get on the skiff. Dives at 7:00, 11:00, 15:00 with a multiple night dive options. 2 rinse showers and camera/gear rinse tanks on fantail. Hot water showers in en-suite bathrooms, A/C in all rooms, highly recommend the Sea View cabins. For ~$200 more than the cheapest bunkbed cabin, you get a much larger room with a full 180-degree glass view. Quite spectacular, the best cabins we've ever had. Varied dive sites, some high current dives, saw all the hoped for critters (mantas, woebegone & epaulette sharks, reef sharks, turtles, bump heads, cuttlefish, etc). Healthy reefs with lush corals and clouds of fish, very high biodiversity. The Pearl of Papua visited the famous sites in northern Raja Ampat, had good food and efficient diving operations, overall, an excellent value. We recommended Pearl of Papua for excellent value, great dive operation and healthy reef sites

Although I believe the diving in Raja Ampat to be a little bit over hyped, we still had a great week of diving. There were many creatures that I had never seen before, as well as some beautiful underwater coral gardens. Something unique to this live aboard that I have never experienced before was the opportunity to get off the boat and explore a few islands. We did a great hike to a mountain top one morning, went to a beautiful beach for an afternoon of swimming with sharks, and then wrapped up with a BBQ party one evening (under the rain). It made for a special trip that was centred on diving but gave some variety in activities. Highly recommended!!

Pearl of Papua is a good quality-price liveaboard for Raja Ampat. It is a very advisable live-aboard. Raja Ampat must be dived this way due the sheer size of the area. I believe the Pearl of Papua is the right balance between price and quality. It is recommended for good service, friendly staff, good food.
